About Me

I'm an avid golfer and golf fan. Here I'm shown still smiling after losing a couple of bucks to Kelly at La Costa. (I'm the skinny guy on the left).

I've been dubbed "The Golf Guy" and it's a nickname that I'm proud of. I developed a passion for golf as a young teenager and realised that golf is a game to last a lifetime. I've been playing for nearly 30 years and still have the opportunity to golf with my 85 year old grandfather.
I received my club repair and club building training in Austin Texas in 1988. Shortly there after I bought a discount golf franchise but couldn't buy into the "off the rack" or "one size fits all" theory. I sold the franchise in 1998 to focus on custom club building and repairs full time.

I live in the beautiful Comox Valley on Vancouver Island with my wife and 4 children.
