Steel or Graphite ?

The shaft is the most important part of any club. It's 5 main properties are FLEX, TORQUE, WEIGHT, KICKPOINT & FEEL. With thousands of shafts available, it's our job to determine what shaft is best suited for your game.

Advantages of Steel

Cost: - The cost of steel shafts is relatively inexpensive.

Consistency: - Steel shafts, because of the way they are constructed, tend to be more consistent and therefore, more accurate.

Durability:- Steel shafts are very durable. these shafts can withstand years of use.

Advantages of Graphite

Softer feel: - These shafts have a softer feel when the club face makes contact with the ball. Graphite shafts don't have near the same vibration on off centre miss hits.

Weight: - The majority of club weight is in the shaft. By using lightweight graphite shafts, the clubs are signifancly lighter.

Longer Clubs: - Because we are reducing the overall weight of the club, the clubs can be made longer. The longer the club the higher the swing speed.

Distance: - Increased club length and increased swing speed result in greater distance. Graphite shafts are suitable for all skill levels. Graphite shafts can be of significant benefit to ladies, seniors, and young players.
